Photos taken from the waterline are particularly suitable for panoramic prints
(12"x5" or 20"x 8"). Such prints will be cropped manually
and not necessarily as indicated in the shopping basket.
Some of the photos from Hammersmith Bridge were taken directly into the
sun ('contre jour'). The strong backlighting adds a somewhat ethereal quality to
colour photos, but also makes for spectacular black-and-white prints especially
where there are strong highlights reflected from the water. Take a look at these
